You’d expect a goalkeeper to save goals — not score them. But Brazilian legend Rogério Ceni flipped the script… and the scoreboard.

Playing for São Paulo FC from 1992 to 2015, Ceni wasn’t just good with his hands — he was deadly with his feet. Known for taking free kicks and penalties, he ended his career with an astonishing 131 goals, making him the highest-scoring goalkeeper in football history.

Let that sink in:
That’s more goals than some famous strikers — combined. He once scored 21 goals in a single season, while still wearing the gloves.

He also helped São Paulo win multiple championships, including the Copa Libertadores and FIFA Club World Cup, all while casually banging in goals like a midfielder.

While most keepers yell “get back in position!”, Ceni just lined up his free kick and made defenders nervous.
